Anastasia is a second year science student, majoring in Biology with a specialization in Environmental Studies. This is her second time on council as last year she was the First Year representative. Currently the New Student Orientation Coordinator she also sits on the executive for the Pre-Vet Society and the Shinerama Committee.

Anastasia enjoys spending time with friends and family and really loves UPEI. An everything kind of girl, Anastasia has an interest in a variety of things. Not only has she been a ballerina for the past fifteen years but also loves singing.  She also trains dogs as one of her past-times, working closely with other dog trainers and their dogs but also training her own dog, Mitzy to a National Competition level.

Above all Anastasia’s favorite place is out at the cottage on a nice summer day; although that didn’t happen to often this summer. Traveling is one of Anastasia’s favorite things to do and she has been to every province in Canada, various US States and to Italy, Switzerland and France; here’s to hoping the next stop will be Greece.
