I am born and raised in Charlottetown, doing the circuit of Spring Park, Queen Charlotte and Colonel Gray.  I have to admit that I was never really involved in many extracurricular activities in any of those schools, but as I've moved on through various schools, I've found that I enjoy participating in things like student council.

I took a very round-about way to get where I am today.  I finished high school, decided to go to Holland College and to the Bioscience Technology Program.  It was awesome, and the best school experience I'd
ever had.  I graduated and decided to get a job and work as a Technician for the rest of my life.  Four months later I was living in BC going to Royal Roads University, where I got my BSc. in Environmental Science.  I
finished the degree, moved home, and managed to get a job working at UPEI in the Department of Biology.  I stayed there for a year, then moved on to another position over at the AVC.  Eventually I decided that
I wanted to do more than what I was doing, and this fall I started my MSc. with the Department of Pathology and Microbiology.

I'm excited to be part of the UPEISU and hope to help make some awesome things happen at UPEI this year!
